Sheri Begolka , Senior Account Manager, Healthcare

With 13 years in the staffing and recruitment industry, Sheri brings a tremendous amount of credibility to Vermillion Group's healthcare team. As a recipient of numerous awards including Pacesetter, Account Executive of the Quarter and Salesmeister, Sheri has developed a true insight and understanding of the issues facing companies in the ongoing war of talent acquisition.

Sheri's primary focus is developing key relationships in Healthcare with the goal of bridging the gap between her candidate's current state of employment and where they ultimately would like to be. This consultative approach to the business allows her to truly understand what each individual considers to be an opportunity.

"It's foolish for a recruiter to think they know what any particular individual would consider an opportunity unless they've told you specifically what an opportunity looks like to them," she says. "Most people I talk to aren't looking for jobs, they're open to or looking for an opportunity to take advantage of. If I don't know their current situation, and don't ask them to articulate what they consider to be something better, I'm essentially asking them if they need a new job - and again, most of them don't."

Sheri takes the same consultative approach with clients. "Most recruiters only qualify candidates based on a set of skills…that's not my goal. I've found it crucial to qualify candidates based on skills, chemistry and motivation. Therefore, I partner with my clients to get a complete understanding of what the opportunity is, and craft a message that is accurate and clear enough for potential candidates to see it for what it is."

Setting Sheri apart is her understanding of the issues facing companies in the ongoing war of talent acquisition. This unique perspective was gained first-hand during 8 years as a search consultant, 4 years as a buyer with a Fortune 100 retailer, and 4 years as a marketer for a $200M manufacturer.

Sheri graduated with a BS in Fashion Merchandising from Iowa State University, and lives in the Des Moines area with her husband and 2 children.

Greg Clouse, Account Executive, Accounting & Finance

As a former Accounting and Financial professional, Greg Clouse brings deep insight and credibility as an Accounting and Finance recruiter for Vermillion Group.

Greg’s recruiting experience began in 1994 with Robert Half in Omaha, Nebraska, where he specialized in bookkeeping and accounting searches. After transferring to Des Moines, Greg was promoted to Division Director with Robert Half where he continued to develop his business by placing high level finance and accounting professionals in full time and consulting roles.

In 2000, Clouse himself was recruited to an Executive Search firm local to Des Moines where he spent the next 8 years placing over 100 professionals that generated over $2,000,000 in client fees. Greg’s work positioned him as one of the top search and placement professionals within the area, making him a highly sought after speaker at industry events for his subject matter expertise. Greg made the move to Vermillion Group in 2009 where he is currently building and leading the firm’s finance and accounting practice.

Prior to his recruiting career, Greg’s background was focused primarily within the banking industry, including time with Banks of Iowa until their acquisition by Firststar Bank in 1994. He held lending, operations, and accounting management roles with direct responsibility of over 40 employees.

Originally from Council Bluffs, Greg graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Accounting. Greg currently resides in Altoona, Iowa, along with his lovely wife Delores, along with their 2 sons.

Tyler Glasgow, Managing Director, Local Business

Since joining Vermillion Group in early 2002, Tyler has been an integral part of the overall success and strategic direction the firm.

Tyler's current role as Managing Director for the Local Business practice puts him squarely in the middle of the fastest growing segment of the human capital industry. His group alignes permanent placement with contract staffing, which allows a truly "full suite" of staffing and recruitment services to their client base.

For his initial two and a half years, Tyler was a member of Vermillion Group's Sales Consultants division placing high performing sales professionals with dynamic and growing software companies. During that time he learned the importance of value-based selling, and started helping others in the firm develop a consultative, process-oriented approach to their business.

As a part of the firm's overall growth strategy, in 2004 Tyler was promoted and tasked with developing, then leading a formal training and development program for the entire office. During that time he established an On-Boarding Program designed to introduce the business to rookie AE's in a systematic and replicable manner that would also bring them up to speed more efficiently and effectively. Along with that program, Tyler was responsible for offering continuing education opportunities for tenured AE's on a regular basis. Through heavy and constant interaction with the MRI Corporate Performance Development staff, his influence and insight was utilize in developing new development programs that have since been rolled out to the entire Management Recruiters franchise office population. He continues to be an influence beyond the Vermillion Group with input in to corporate driven development programs designed for the MRINetwork.

Tyler's background includes success as a player and coach for the NCJAA Division 1 men's basketball All-Time Wins Leader, Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. During his tenure on Southeastern's staff, Tyler was instrumental in recruiting a team that went on to win the NJCAA Division 1 National Championship in 2000. Players that he helped bring to SCC went on to earn full ride basketball scholarships with major collegiate programs such as UCONN, University of Iowa, Florida State, DePaul and Grambling to name a few. He is a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College with a BS in Law Enforcement and Investigation.

Mark Hardy, Account Executive - Sales

Mark brings 15 years of successful sales, marketing and management experience to the Vermillion Group. Mark's experiences, coupled with many accomplishments, demonstrate his ability to set and achieve goals, interact with customers and build long term relationships.

Some examples of Mark's achievements are: four straight years as an Award winning Sales Executive maintaining a $1million revenue average per month. Mark developed a training program designed to better service his customers resulting in increased sales and profits. This training program was later adopted as the company standard. Mark prides himself on his ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates, as well as his ability to mentor others.

Mark is an ex-United States Marine who was promoted meritoriously many times throughout his military career. After his participation in Desert Shield / Storm, Mark was decorated and honorably discharged from the Marines at which point he began a very successful career in the mortgage industry.

Mark's free time is spent with his wife and two children, Liam and Padrig.

Emiley brings her long history of success with her in both performance and confidence. She listens to her clients and candidates to provide win-win-win situations. She values high integrity, and she genuinely cares about the people she works with. She enjoys assisting hiring managers and candidates both to get to the next level. She actively recruits to accomplish the goals of all parties.

Jeff Livingston joined the Vermillion Group after a very successful career in the automotive industry. After starting out as a Sales Consultant, he quickly worked his way into management. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, his sales department consistently ranked high in owner loyalty and customer satisfaction, winning many awards.

Jeff brings that commitment to customer satisfaction into his current role as a Healthcare Recruiter. His area of concentration is in the Southwest, serving the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Utah. Jeff has been wonderfully successful in assisting his clients to find talented pharmacists for various positions in the healthcare industry.

"My goal is to listen to my client's needs and then be able to quickly assist them in finding outstanding pharmacists who exceed their criteria." He has been able to recruit outstanding pharmacists with expertise in management and clinical specialties such as oncology, pediatrics, nuclear pharmacy, home infusion and compounding.

Prior to the automotive industry, Jeff graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a BS in Business Administration and served in the Marine Corp Reserves. Gregg Lynes, Account Executive, Sales

Gregg came to the Vermillion Group after a long, distinguished career as an officer in the Marine Corps and then at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Financial Advisor. Gregg was a Marine Officer during the 1st Gulf War where he was responsible for doubling the size of the Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicle School at Camp Pendleton,CA. Subsequently, as a Financial Manager, Gregg became one of the most successful Rookies earning awards for his work with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

After meritorious promotions throughout his life, community activism and volunteering, Gregg brought his talents to the recruiting industry. Gregg’s success throughout his career can clearly be attributed to his diligence in serving the needs of his clients and candidates who choose the Vermillion Group as their executive search firm.

James Roth, Division Manager, Insurance and Financial Services

Jim Roth leads the Insurance and Investment Division. In addition to his management responsibilities, Jim manages his own very successful recruiting desk. Prior to joining the Vermillion Group, Jim spent 21 years in the insurance industry. He started his career as an agent in 1974, was promoted into field management and finally moved into an executive leadership role. There are very few recruiters who understand the marketplace as well as Jim does. He specializes in placing mid to senior-level executives, across all business channels within the Life Insurance and Mutual Funds industries.

Jim consistently ranks within the top 2% of all Insurance recruiters in the world. He has qualified for more than two dozen inter-office, regional, and national awards, including being the four time recipient of both the "National Billing" and "National Cash-In" leader awards.
