Interview with Amanda Rehberg

Give us a little insight about your career history?
I started with the Vermillion Group in 1996 as part of the administrative team that I currently manage. I've been involved with and responsible for a variety of tasks, including accounts receivable and payable, compiling statistics, communicating with our corporate office for various issues, handling commissions and collection issues.
With the recruiting industry being as competitive and difficult as it is, what aspects of the business gives you the most satisfaction and keeps you showing up every day?
The one thing that keeps me motivated is the people I work with in our office. Being a part of Vermillion Group for as long as I have has allowed me to see a number of people grow into outstanding performers, and I've grown to appreciate them for their character - and the characters they are!
What do you pride yourself on, job related?
I pride myself on multi-tasking. I love being busy. Going home at the end of the day knowing that I have done everything possible to create a productive environment for the producers in the office is a good feeling. It is my job to keep everyone happy while making their jobs a little bit easier if possible.

Family
I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful children. I also have a miniature schnauzer named Snowey!
If I wasn’t a recruiter, I would be…? (and why)
If I didn't work in a recruiting office, I don't know what I would be doing! I do know that I would definitely recruit the expertise of a great recruiter to help me find my next opportunity!
