What are some attributes that set you apart from other recruiters?
The focus of my desk is concentrated on the industry leaders in the defense contracting business and on the people who make them go. Since the number of former military members I interact with is high, I'm able to build quick rapport and easily emphathize with their prior lives as well as their current situation.
With the recruiting industry being as competitive and difficult as it is, what aspects of the business gives you the most satisfaction and keeps you showing up every day?
I'm driven by a number of factors, but helping defense companies find the people that make their organizations succeed is right up at the top of that list.
Tell us about your desk specialty
My team and I work exclusively with organizations who do business with the Federal Government; more specifically with Defense Contractors. Functionally we specialize in Business Development, Capture Management, Pricing, Proposal, Contract Management and Program Management professionals.

Family
My wife of 29 years and counting! Our son and his family, including our 2 year old grand daughter live 2 miles from us in the rolling countryside outside of Des Moines. We also have 2 dogs, five acres of land with a pond full of fish, and lots of room for company on short notice.
I enjoy spending my free time…
Hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. And sometimes I get to do them all at the same time when I travel around a golf course, hunting and fishing for golf balls that I've hit in to the woods or a pond!
