Give us a little insight about your career history?

I started with the Vermillion Group in 1998 as a Project Coordinator, in which I exclusively recruited candidates within the technology space. I transitioned in to my current role of Administrative Assistant supporting the Managed Care and Health Care teams.

What are some attributes that set you apart from other recruiters?

I think the one thing that sets me apart from others is the fact that I've been on a desk before. I first joined the Vermillion Group as a Project Coordinator, working for the Division Managers. Within my first full year, I earned Pacesetter, MRINetwork & Vermillion Group's highest performance-based honor. I have a good idea of what the producers are dealing with while doing their jobs, which allows me to give them help in areas others may not know about.

What do you enjoy most about being a recruiter?

When the office is making placements! There is nothing better than when the entire office is rocking!

I enjoy spending my free time…

I love hanging out by the pool in the summer time. I'm a big Iowa Hawkeye fan - both football and basketball, and I also follow the Dallas Cowboys & Oakland Raiders. Beyond that, spending time with my family and friends is what I love most!

One interesting fact about me is…

I was a 4-year letter winner on the Lincoln High School Diving team. I grew up water skiiing at Lake of the Ozarks, mostly slolem.

If I wasn’t a recruiter, I would be…? (and why)

I would my own business painting houses. I love to paint and having my own freedom doing it.
